The Cardinal Rule: Don't be a jerk.

While we trust you to use your own good judgement to determine what does or does not violate The Cardinal Rule, final determination of which side of the line behaviour falls on is at the sole discretion of NomadNet, Inc. and its staff or other representatives.

If you are found to be in violation of The Cardinal Rule, penalties may include loss of in-game items (influence, links, etc.), temporary or permanent banning from the site, account deletion, or anything else which may seem appropriate to the violation in question. This is clearly not an exhaustive list of potential penalties.

Examples of Prohibited Behaviour

• Use of any harassing, insulting, threatening, or otherwise unpleasant language directed towards other users, either individually or collectively.
• Use of sexual or racially-charged language even if not directed towards other users.
• Any fraudulent activity, including, but not limited to, taking advantage of programming errors. If you encounter any exploitable bugs, please report them to fnews@seethefnews.com for a chance to win in-game awards.
• Creating additional accounts to benefit your primary organization. While it is not possible to rigidly enforce a "one account per person" limit, it will be enforced as and when users are found to have multiple accounts unless this has been explicitly cleared in advance with fnews@seethefnews.com.

This list is also not exhaustive. The capacity of some people to be jerks is boundless, so no exhaustive list is possible. But rest assured that coming up with a creative new way to be a jerk does not make it acceptable.
